Last weekend the family rented a minivan to drive to Yuma to visit Quentin. He hasn't met Chloe yet, it was his birthday on the 9th, and it has been a year since we saw him, so it was time for another trip. It was good to see him. He's lost some more weight and was really on good behavior for the visit. Other than the long drive, it turned out to be a nice little "vacation" for all of us.
Yesterday was Preston's birthday. He took Colin and Amy and Chloe and went to the Star Trek exhibit at the Arizona Science Center. Then the whole family went to dinner. BJ's is a bit pricey but the food was wonderful! Colin even liked the Cheese Pizza. Preston had pizza, Amy had Jambalaya, Meredith had Chicken Fetuccini Alfredo, and Leigh and I had salmon. YUMMY!! We came home for cake and presents.
So, this is a short little update. Perhaps more to come later.....
